Various Japanese Instructors also visit the club on their visits to the UK.

Sensei Wheatcroft, who instructs on five sessions per week at Satori Shotokan, is still as committed to the club and the KUGB and continues to arrange various courses through out a year for the members. There are approx. 100 members training at the club on five sessions per week (see Training Times).

Gradings are held every three or four months with the KUGB Grading Examination Board, and Special Kata and Bunkai courses with various Shotokan Senior Instructors are held in between.

Sensei Wheatcroft is the Chief Instructor at Satori Shotokan and is a KUGB LSM (Long Standing Member) having been presented with his Twenty Year continuous membership certificate by Sensei Enoeda in April 1994 and his Thirty Year continuous membership certificate by Sensei Andy Sherry in May 2006. Both certificates were presented at the KUGB's yearly National Championships held at the NIA in Birmingham.

The club has Five KUGB Qualified Instructors, ranging from 1st to 3rd Dan, (see Instructor Profile) all have been CRB vetted (Criminal Record Bureau) to work with children and vulnerable adults and they hold First Aid Certificates in Sports Injuries.

The past 16 years has seen the KUGB hold all its National Yearly Championships, bar one, at Queens Park: ie: Shotokan Cup, Students, Children's, Grand Slam, Central Regions along with Instructor courses, Special Dan and Black Belt Gradings.

The club has a very active social side, along with the presenting, each year of a Student of the Year Trophy which is presented to the member who in the eyes of the Chief Instructor, has accomplished the most, overall, in that year
